Barb Kaplan

Carol Ball-Teplin, M.P.S., holds a Masters Degree in Professional Studies/Clinical Counseling from the New York Institute of Technology and is a New York State licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is married for fifty years to Lee, mother of four children and grandmother of seven. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Carol has lived in Hicksville, NY for many years. She currently shares a private practice under the umbrella of “Healing Process Workshops,” in partnership with Dr. Lucille Rosen.

Barbara Kaplan, Ph.D. has been working in the field of psychotherapy for 27 years. Barbara works in a group practice and specializes in individual and group psychotherapy for adults and adolescents, bereavement, substance abuse counseling and couples counseling. Dr. Kaplan earned a fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the late eighties and state certification in addictions counseling in 1999. Dr. Kaplan lives on Long Island with her husband Paul, two teenage sons Benjamin and Philip and her mother Cecilia.
