Following thirty years as a lecturer at the Open University, Janice Dolley is now Development Director of the Wrekin Trust, a charity for spiritual education started in 1971 by Sir George Trevelyan. As an educator, writer, innovator and facilitator she has co-authored Christian Evolution; Moving towards a Global Spirituality, The Quest: Exploring a Sense of soul; Awakening to a New Awareness: Stories of Contemporary Christians, arranged an International conference on The Emerging Spirituality Revolution: Embodying the Spiritual Imperative of our Time and many learning programmes and workshops. As a Trustee of the Findhorn Foundation and Director of the Findhorn College she is supporting spiritual and ecological ways of living; as Trustee of WYSE International she sees the vital importance of encouraging the potential of young leaders within the context of a global vision and holistic world view and as President of CANA (Christians Awakening to a New Awareness) supports those who are seeking an authentic spirituality on the fringes of the mainstream. A particlar passion is to bring an understanding of the interconnectedness of the whole web of life and of the essential values of all the world faiths into contemporary life.
She lives with her husband in Gloucestershire, closely associated with their four daughters and seven grandchildren
