What Wags the World: Tales of Conscious Awakening is a topical and compelling collection of conscious awakening stories from more than 30 authors and filmmakers. Each contributor describes life-changing experiences that resulted in extraordinary transformation within their own life, and realizations of an interconnected and multidimensional universe. Their understanding of the world and how it works has been so profoundly changed that they feel compelled to share their story and pass on the gifts of wisdom, insight, and compassion they have gained.

REVIEWS & ENDORSEMENTS

A Potpourri of Endless Possibilities Ervin Lazlo, among whose many books I have reviewed, opens the book with the observation that we are in a race with time and the cosmos is longing for us to show life and consciousness. His foreword is followed by a short introduction from Miriam Knight, from whom I extract one quote: The revelations and personal shifts that people have described run the gamut from profound understandings of the nature of the forces underpinning the very fabric of physical reality, to the ability to visualize the interior of human bodies and having the capacity to change their molecular structure and create miraculous healings, to the ability to hear and even see beings in other dimensions, and convey their messages to friends, loved ones, and the world at large. In her own introduction, Julie Clayton observes that we are asleep to a lot of things in the world, but humankind is stirring into wakefulness – the contributors listed below are showing the way and making the point that the paths toward transformation are many. The editors, who are world-class themselves, have leveraged thirty-seven other world-class figures to compile, for each, a tale, an insight, a message, and a bio. Most of these figures have published books, and all without exception have a website for further exploration. I am new to the New Consciousness and New Thought movements, having spent the past ten years focused on Collective Intelligence and Group Wisdom. I am no longer skeptical about near death experiences and I am absolutely persuaded that consciousness and energy are the essence of everything and J D Messinger has nailed it in isolating the World of Form as false and the World of Light as the whole. It is in that context that I examine this book as a potpourri, a smorgasbord, of mentors and masters. Think of this as Conscious Awakening 101 and go from here. As printed the book offers the 37 authors in the following order. I provide a phrase for each, with a star for those that resonated with me to the point of being interested in follow-up. Perfect Primer for the Rising Tide of Consciousness It's been said "a rising tide lifts all boats," and that's the uplifting sense I got while reading Miriam Knight and Julie Clayton's marvelous anthology of inspirational short autobiographical essays. This is the perfect book for anyone experiencing or contemplating experiencing life-changing transformations in their lives, who is feeling somewhat skeptical. Healthy skepticism is a wonderful tool for rational comprehension, and while it's perfectly natural to balk at some of the more extraordinary experiences reported by those interviewed in this book, their established qualifications as scientists, medical doctors, and well-respected professionals bolster their credibility. ~ Cynthia Sue Larson, a best-selling author, life coach, and inspirational speaker who optimizes life possibilities with quantum physics principles.

Written informally in the first person, the information feels genuine, accessible, and transformative. ~ Krysta Gibson, NewSpiritJournal November 2014 http://www.newspiritjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/New-Spirit-December-2014-issuu.pdf
